BFFs with God

Most people out have had a Best Friend over their lifetime an individual who at a certain point took place before others as “The Best”. I will admit in my youth I’ve had a few best friends in the practical sense, I still talk to one of my oldest “best friends” but realistically they haven’t held that title for many years but we are still incredibly close and have each others back within reason and legal ramifications and the friendship is close enough that if they need to step aside it is understood and there are no hard feelings.

I would not expect my dearest friends to take a bullet for me.
My Daughters Mother once took the title of Best Friend for a long time and I took that title very seriously again within reason, that was until one day I had heard her refer to someone else as their Best Friend to the point that she shared that this person would be there until their dying days. Sometime after that I found myself no longer referred to as her Best Friend but I was quite ready for that.

As stated above I had always taken Best Friend status as temporary another person can take the place but that person who once held the title in your life (unless they burned a bridge so horribly) would still be held to a higher degree than other persons and hopefully vice versa. In my world all who had held the title of Best Friend are still trusted (within reason) for many tasks and information. They are still in the circle.

There is however a title I held above Best Friend and that was “Best Friend Forever” I used to call it Best Friend Eternally (BFE) and I found it very amusing when children would start using BFF themselves for friendships that as an adult you knew would be most likely quite temporary, though we dare not break the illusion of children to spoil the magic.

The Title of Best Friend Forever I have only had to one being which was God.
I had made this agreement before I was born in this incarnation and yes I said incarnation and understand there is absolutely no discrepancy in that statement.

What does it mean to have God as your BFF?
I can answer that question with clarity.

It is to absolute knowing that I have the backing of everything.
It is knowing that I feel absolute pity for anyone who does me wrong.
It is understanding that what I am shown and what is discussed and what I am told comes above everything in the material world.

The world is remade and destroyed over and over and over and over and over again because my BFF is constantly working on everything and I enjoy my BFFs creation.
Not everyone gets to stay, not everyone gets to remember but I am blessed to enjoy the show and bring those who hold onto me along for the ride.

Why should I worry about those without favour?

I do not know you.
